eyern1 Posted January 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Someone mentioned liquor is cheaper on Back Street than Front Street. Exactly what is which? Is Front street the Boardwalk along the bay/ocean and Back Street the next street running parallel to it, or what? Thanks.
39august Posted January 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Front Street is the first street behind the boardwalk. One block further is Back Street. You can also catch the local "buses" on Back Street.
Karysa Posted January 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Back street has more shops that the islanders would shop at and less souvenir type stores and I'm not sure that there's jewelry shops on it but Front Street has many, many jewelry shops. Shopping wise the two streets are completely different experiences to me. With multiple ships in port they usually close Front St to traffic but not Back St.
navybankerteacher Posted January 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Front Street has Tiffany, Cartier, Longchamp, etc. Back Street has tee shirts, etc.
