Does anyone know where the ship will dock in relation to the town please?

LB, from a post I read either on Tripadvisor or here on CC I believe we dock quite close to town, maybe 10 minutes walk, Klaksvik is a very small place I believe.

Not sure what ship you are on. Larger ships over 78,000grt would dock in Klaksvik. Smaller ones can use Torshavn. Klaksvik is about 5000 residence.

Klaksvik, Faroe Islands:

- Hours of operation: 9am till 30 minutes prior to ship's departure time

- Final shuttle from city: 30 minutes prior to ship's departure time

- Timing: runs every 1/4 from both city and ship

-Travel time: approximately 6 to 8 minutes each way

- Drop off point: City Center, next to the tourist information
