Mumbai cruise terminal clearance

A group of us are doing a private tour on 26 April with Pranav; off Azamara Quest. As we will have already been to Cochin and Goa, can anyone gives me an indication of how long it may take us to get through immigration in Mumbai and also how far away is the Green Gate?.

Green gate is a five minute walk. Very easy.

Clearance time really varies. Could be quick but could take a while even if it is your third port of call.

I would allow about an hour after arrival.

Mumbai was our final Indian port and it never ceased to amaze me how incompetent and bureaucratic the chatty little ladies that processed us could slow down our exit from the ship. The first port was terrible; two middle ports not so bad; but last port, Mumbai it still took way too long (probably about 45 minutes.

We liked India, but the visa and immigration process was not pretty.

Hi Tony. Could you tell us how your private tour worked out. We are going April 27, 2017 and are thinking of doing a private tour for the 2 days in Mumbai. Advice please. A year ago we used Mumbai Magic in Mumbai for 2 days. We had a great time and will be using them again in November. They were waiting for us just as we exited the terminal. Mumbai Magic knows that you will have to clear customs and it can take sometime.

In Goa, Mangalore and Cochin the tour company was Muziris Tours. We really enjoyed the backwater cruise in Cochin. Mumbai Magic also does tours in Goa, Mangalore and Cochin. We had too cleared customs in Cochin, the other 2 ports we just walked off to meet up with the tour company.
