Oh my. No more $50 credit. Oh no. We won't be able to sail now. lol.

We can't get a $50 credit now, oh my.

All sailings are off. :p

We are now devastated learning this news. My goodness, the cutbacks are

endless. We will now have to sail in an inside cabin, w/o that $50 credit. Imagine the travesty.

lol.

OK. Perhaps that was out of line. But still humorous given DCL demographics. lol

That $50 credit was limited as it was, since it had to be used on drinks.

It's not just that the $50 credit is changing. Most of us didn't use it because it couldn't be combined with other offers (onboard booking or whatever). The point it that it is just another step in DCL reducing the offers, benefits, service levels, food quality, etc. while increasing prices.

Specifically, this started as a $50 OBC that could be used on anything, then changed to $50 that must be used on beverages. Now it is changing to a % off thing. That's great IF you want the things that will be discounted...not so hot if you don't buy those items.

I was never able to use this OBC anyway. My TA said it couldn't be combined with other OBC offers and I got more for booking while on-board and from my TA. But yes, the diminishing returns as these perks fade into the sunset is becoming a pattern.
