peggyd3 Posted February 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2017 hello, we are leaving march 5 on the getaway, I have heard conflicting reports about storage room and about fees for room service. Is there room under the bed to store suitcases or are there drawers under there? If drawers are under bed, where do you store suitcases? room service fees? for basic continental breakfast? Can you take a gluten free food item on board or will they confiscate like booze? thanks for any replies! peggy
cb at sea Posted February 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2017 There are fees for room service UNLESS it's the "continental" breakfast (basically coffee and pastries are free). Suitcases will go under the bed...plenty of other storage in the cabin. Call the "special needs" dept. if you need a GF diet....they will make it happen. You can certainly bring GF snacks, if you want.
Rare BirdTravels Posted February 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2017 (edited) Is there room under the bed to store suitcases or are there drawers under there? If drawers are under bed, where do you store suitcases?Under the bed is available for suit cases. No drawers. Actually, no drawers anywhere in a standard cabin. room service fees? for basic continental breakfast? Basic continental breakfast is delivered for free. Hot breakfast and any other food comes with a delivery charge. But,,, there is really no table to eat at. There is a narrow counter across the foot of the bed. Can you take a gluten free food item on board or will they confiscate like booze? Booze will be held for you until you disembark. Wine in bottles can be brought onboard so long as you pay the $15 per bottle corkage fee (regardless of where the wine is consumed). thanks for any replies! peggy Have a great cruise! kenlyn Posted February 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Two huge drawers under the couch. Remove the extra bedding that's in there and store in closet or in Ottoman. I fit most of my clothes in one drawer after hanging up nicer things in closet. There was plenty of storage that stayed empty all week. Have a great time we have sailed her twice and booked again for next January.

Kfamilycruise Posted February 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Although there are no "traditional" drawers, as another poster said, there are two huge drawers under the couch and the area that was shown as the "dining table" has multiple cabinets with shelves -- there are a large number of shelves in the closet and for the "seat" that goes by that table -- the "seat" comes off and it offers big storage. Enjoy!
