Casinos in the Bahamas?

I'm going to the Bahamas on the Breakaway.

Are there any casinos besides the Atlantis?

is it easy to get there by taxi?

My favorite game is 'Ultimate X' video poker.

(I'm assuming Atlantis has Ultimate X?)

When I was on the getaway in December several dealers indicated they were going to work at a new casino bigger than Atlantis when their contract was up. Don't have other info.

I believe the Crystal Palace Casino on Cable Beach is still opened. Was originally a Carnival Hotel, hence, the rainbow colors. Not sure who owns it now.

It's been a while since in last visited the Bahamas, but isn't Cable Beach quite a ways from the cruise port?

The Westin(?) / crystal palace is a long long ride from the ship

We had a day pass and room at the adjoining Sheraton a few years back. It was a $ 4o cab ride for the 5 of us

I know you can take a jitney for much less but we were not in a jitney mood

They were also building a huge casino right in the same area
