Conquest class cabins 2470 or 2473

My buddy had 2470 last month on the Conquest. It is a huge room. The room has 2 windows, the mirrow and desk is along the angled wall and bed is along the perpendicular wall. Nice wide hallway. I think I have a few in my signature link to the Conquest. There was some vibration noise from the engine, but he said it made him sleep better.

because of Robtx-- I booked 2470.

The cabin is large compared to other oceanview cabins. Just be aware that you might get some shuddering.. Its not bad.. like being rocked kinda.

  • 4 years later...

We were in cabin 2470 in December.

What was mentioned above as some shuddering, is now a lot. And after years of this shudder, now the room has lots of rattles...kind of like a car that gets driven over rough roads for years. I'm not sure what was making all the noises from maybe the thrusters all week and other mechanical/engine sounds - to what sounded like hydraulic lifts for luggage the last night.

If you are a light sleeper, I would NOT recommend it.

Good points:

It is large, even if you made up the couch bed, there would be room for a couple of roll away beds and still be able to get around. So if you are looking to pack several people into a room...this could be it.

I liked the location - we could grab the closest elevator and go up to the lido deck quickly. You can walk the length of the ship on this level without dealing with the casino or anything, so we could get to the Monet restaurant or the theater quick.
