RCI Secret Sands Excursion

For those looking at the excursion you can go to Smith Bay/Lindqvist Beach on your own, no excursion needed. Taxis are readily available and it's arguably the nicest beach on the island. :)

But there may not be chair rental if you go on your own. The excursion provides chairs and maybe other amenities.

Yes it's more for someone who wants that gorgeous beach and a towel in the sand is enough.

I am sure we can get a taxi to take us there but what about getting us back to the ship. We are booked for this excursion on April 13 and so far not been cancelled but want a plan just in case.

Taxis will probably stop in the parking lot looking for folks returning but best to have a driver return, or better yet get his cell# so you can coordinate a good time for you both.

Definitely worth the effort if you want to enjoy a beautiful beach not as spoiled as the others, may not last long...
