Just off today and, for the most part, we had a good time. Many, many small things that could have been better but I tried to stay positive and not let it change my experience. One of the frustrating things was several visits to guest relations within the first 3 days, trying to straighten out our accounts. Not sure why we complete on-line check in, and each set up our accounts at embarkation, just to have them so messed up, it takes 5 visits to GR to finally get it right. Food was quite good but had to wave down the coffee people in the morning and the bar staff in the evening. At tables near us we witnessed the topping off of wine glasses, we could barely get one drink the entire meal. We are at Qsine our first night, very nummy food, very attentive service. The comedians on board were all good, silent disco...Ok, martini bar...You get quicker service if you sit away from the bar. Rough weather our last sea day kept folks out of the pools. St Kitts needs a little work yet. Our room steward did a good job keeping our stateroom tidy. We had a 6th floor hump cabin and we liked it. Did not meet any CC folks...Sorry, just did not work out. Sunset bar was nice, Cellar Masters...Never anyone there to assist, Ensemble Lounge was ok, Blind Vinyl very versatile. Nieces said Tenors of Rock were good. Maarten, the cruise director was ever present. Celebrity I lounge attendant very short...Rude but WIFI worked well. That's it in a nutshell. Looking forward to our next adventure...On Equinox

Hi Misha, I was also on board and also missed the CC event (too busy enjoying the sunshine).

Luckily the only bad service we got on board was at the Martini Bar, like you we found it impossible to get a drink. We did however have great luck in Cellar Masters and only once or twice had to wait for a few minutes for Steffanie (Steffania?) to appear. We also appreciated the new bar in the Entertainment Court and never had to wait more than a minute or two.

We found the ship clean and well cared for and the staff friendly and accommodating. We also found the house band (Blind Vinyl) and the solo guitarist (Willian) to be among the best we've been able to listen to on any cruise. We did catch Tenors of Rock and can agree they too were fantastic. We caught the comedian (very good) and Broken Strings (just OK). Overall I'd say our only disappointment was our meal at Lawn Club. Steak was only OK, won't rush back.

Had a great time in spit of the chair hogs and was amazed how a slightly different layout of the Reflection took me longer to get used to than I thought. Booked the Silhouette for next March.

I noted the chair hog thing was quite prevalent on the 2nd to last sea day. It was like..."OMG, I have to get my burn on before I go home." And there were alot of toasted people...from the sun.

We were on this cruise as well. Just a few points :

1. Our cabin stewart was excellent, never really saw the butler.

2. Shower in a Aft S1 is a little low for tall people but manageable.

3. First night in Luminae was a little disappointing, filet was overcooked and was pretty bland, but every single meal after that was awesome. Talked to a few other pax that were not very impressed the 1st evening either. Service was outstanding though.

4. Bars were pretty busy especially the casino bar and Martini Bar. I found myself just going over to Michael's or Ensemble bar to grab a beer then hit the smoking are on 5 and back down to the casino. The Casino bar guys and gals work like dogs but when people order 5 mudslides at a time you will fall behind.

Overall another great cruise on X, we will be back again. I also want to give a shout out to those that do live reviews !! I thought I would try it on this cruise with the full internet package, but damn that would of seriously cut into my drinking/casino time so I blew it off.

I don't know anything about the chair hogs as we do not sit by the pool

I didn't notice what anyone else was wearing on chic night, I brought a jacket but did not bother wearing it, just a polo shirt and dress pants.

Ship look as good as I remember

Michael's Club was never packed that I saw and we were there every day.

One other thing to mention, disembarking was a breeze. We had breaky in Luminae at 6:30 were back in our room by 7 AM for a quick nap then left our room at 7:45 AM. We were checked in at the MIA Airport by 8:25 AM, we actually switched our flights while checking in so we would get home 5 hours earlier. So if anyone wonders about those 10 AM flights they are pretty doable IMO.

Misha1: On your Eastern itinerary, do you recall the show times on the casual and chic (formal) dining nights? I want to (pre-cruise) sync my show times with my day to day Select dining reservations.

Any information will be much appreciated.

Thanks, Bman
