tendering and starting time of stingray excursion

Hi guys,

I will be on Carnival Conquest in Dec, docking at Cayman from 8am to 4pm. I would like to book a stingray excursion from private tour and search for tour as early as possible to save some time at SMB. I notice that 4 of 5 ships will arrive at Cayman at 8am that day. Will it slow the tendering? How long is the tendering going to take in your experience?

Should I look for tours starting at 9am? 9:30 or 10am? Thanks!

I would go with the 10am, to avoid you having to rush or worry! The tender trip is about 5-8 mins, once the tender leaves the ship.... That way, you can go ashore, early if you're able, and maybe do a bit of shopping....or just take your time in the morning, and not have to be in the "I wanna be 1st off" crowd!
