Venice embarkation- Best time to arrive?

We are sailing Constellation from Venice, arriving from a hotel where we are spending a few days pre-cruise.

Reports seem to vary as some people claim waits of 2+ hours, while others have no problem.

Given that we are in a sky suite with supposedly priority check in, what would be best and earliest time to arrive at the ship?

We weren't in a suite but arrived about 12:30 and it appeared that the line for Suite guests was quite short. Others were a mess- took just over an hour for us to get through the line.

I have found that the later the better. I try not to arrive before 1:30. In Seattle 1 time I got to the ship about 3pm. It was great. Not a line in site.

We've boarded there twice around 11am. Both times check in was fast with no wait. However the queue to get on the ship, because they only have 2 scanners for everyone was very long. They set the dining booking table up by the queue as they know they can spend time talking to people in the queue.
