Shopping in Old San Juan

The ship docks right in the center of downtown Old San Juan.

Come out of the terminal and cross the street and you can start at Ralph Lauren's new (a few years) Polo store and move along from there. Keep going up the hills and will come to many stores. Lots are trinkets and souvenirs, plenty of jewelry stores, Coach, Dooney & Bourke.........

Have fun.

The CVS store is across the street from the cruise terminal and has some t shirts and beach clothing last time I was there.

If you're looking for clothes for your cruise or for summer events at home, head to the Marshall's store. Usually lots of good clothing bargains.

Just walk around Old San Juan and buy what suits your fancy!

Lots of souvenir stores, too, but can't remember name of the one I'm picturing in my mind.

Is there anything to be gained from shopping at Marshalls in SJ vs. home?

Have never been there so can't answer directly.

However I've read many cruisers shop there for forgotten items etc.
