What is your Souvenir you got on your vacation /cruise

I do the fridge magnets and DH gets a coffee mug. Last year we decided to start getting Xmas ornaments from our trips.

Christmas ornaments and shot glasses. Used to collect spoons as well.

My favorite souvenier is pictures taken of us on the ship (by the ship photographer.)

Love your taste in ornaments, Luv2travell! Exactly what I would get. It looks like you improvise sometimes like I do when ornaments are hard to find; turn keychains or magnets into ornaments.

thank you! i have no choice but to improvise when i cant find anything but i find it to be more unique for my tree im running of space in my tree. i cant to go on my next trip

I collect the cruise ship replicas from the gift shop.

We have a pool at our house, so in the Caribbean I collect a beach towel with the name of each port we visit.

Nice idea. About how much would you expect to pay for a beach towel? Going to Mexico.

Both us and my parents collect Christmas ornaments too. No matter where we go or type of trip. I also try to find unique items only made by locals.

My dh and I don't do much shopping in ports.

I do take a ton of pictures. I also always buy the embarkation photo. Dh used to try to get out of it. But I think he has realized I will insist on it! ha!

After seeing all of the beautiful ornaments from all around the world, I think I will start that tradition of getting an ornament from each port visited.

Local cookbooks is what I like to find in ports - I browse through them first to make sure most ingredients will be locally accessible.
