Getaway dining on first day

We are going on the Getaway. What are the options for dining when you first get onboard. We are in a mini suite so no separate dining for us. I do not like the hordes at the buffet the first day. HAL offers past cruisers a luncheon in the MDR on day 1 which is delightful . On Celebrity we ate at a small restaurant which was a pay option and it was worth it. Any suggestions for where to find a nice sort of quiet luncheon spot the first day would be appreciated. Thanks.:p

One of the MDRs will be open, usually between noon-2PM. Enjoy!

I believe the Flamingo grill was also open.

HI all!

Flamingo grill was open & not crowded at all. On Epic I know O'Sheehans was open as I had fish, chips & mushy peas there so maybe it is on Getaway too.

I'm not much for the stuffy formal dining room or crowded buffet if the weather is great on boarding day, and don't love the O'Sheehan's menu, so I'm thrilled the Flamingo Grill is open!

That is how I know my cruise has started, I go to whatever main dining room is open, and prepare to be treated like a queen! :D (can't wait till December!!)
