Pollution issues at this beach have kept our family out of the water since 2006. The beach and boardwalk are fun though.

Agree with karysa, and will add that NO, there is no snorkeling at Great Bay Beach. There's no reef and the sand has just been pumped in from bay dredging.

Frontstreet shopping can also be fun. :)

I'd stop at getting a tan and toes in the water on the beach here.
