One day on cruise 8-5 in Nassau. Best beach for 50's couple?

The posts for beaches in Nassau are overwhelming. We are coming in on the Norwegian Gem for one day only next year in May and would love a relaxing day on a beautiful beach where we can swim and sunbathe, with chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Would love your advice as to which beaches you recommend... free or paid.

The best beach for you would be the BCH just a few blocks from the port . They have day passes available and have all your requirements

The BC Hilton is very nice, as is the Melia on Cable Beach.

The Hilton is very convenient to the pier- a beautiful hotel.

The Melia offers larger pools and a bigger stretch of beach.
