Just after booking recently I realsied I hadn't asked about pre-paying our gratuities. What is the recommended payments for paying when onboard?

Not sure what you mean by prepaying.just register a credit card on embarkation and the tips are added to your onboard account daily.

It's a painless proccess until you get your c card bill.

Suggestion: call your travel agent or Cunard and ask about the 175th Anniversary Special that includes gratuities and other perks on certain bookings.

I understand what you mean by pre-paying the gratuities, as they do on, for example on Celebrity cruises. To the best of my knowledge no such a system appertains on Cunard, but as has been mentioned there are a few special deals on a few specified 175th anniversary cruises.

Other than that a daily gratuity charge is put onto your shipboard account. This can be removed at your request and as some do, you can do your own thing.

Regards

David
