Higher Prices for UK Passengers

I have just tried to book a Princess Black Sea cruise with Vacations to Go at $1299 for an Oceanview only to be told that they cannot accept UK bookings.

Can you explain why you are offering the same cruise at £ 1699 to UK customers. [B] This is twice the price!![/B] Needless to say I will not be going!.

I suggest all UK customers boycott Princess until we get price equality!

Use a us address and then you can book thru a us ta, dont have a us address, white pages is full of them

I think she was trying to book on the Royal, but i guess its just a general princess cruises question.

Totally agree - the fare prices should be the same worldwide - not fair that some passengers pay less than half what others do.

This applies to all cruise.s purchased in the UK..I was told that in UK they have to pay V A T 18% (sales tax).

UK VAT is 20% .. :mad: uit it is not just on prices UK customers are fleeced! why can North Americans hold a booking right up until the day before Final payment, cancel and get a refund of the deposit? when the UK customers cannot.

There is no VAT on cruises, holidays, trains, planes, or any transportations for that matter.

Your government has so many consumer protection law that cruise lines have to build in additional fund to protect themselves. So your protection has to be paid by someone......you

The situation is the same for us Aussies as well....we cannot book through US agents either. We get fleeced the same way, especially in the OBC department.
