Price Changes

I have booked a cruise and found the same cruise and accomodation for considerably less money. Can I get my price ajusted to the lower price. Note I have booked 8months in advance...

You (or your Travel Agent, if you used one) contact the cruise line and ask for the fare change.

Most (but not all) cruise lines will honor these changes up to the time of final payment. But get that new fare ASAP.

On the other hand if the low price is being offered by a TA, the cruise line will probably not honor the low price. In that case you could transfer the booking to the lower priced TA. Be certain that there are no fees or loss of perks by transferring the booking before you move it.

Who did you book your cruise with? The cruise line, TA an online agency? Don't give us specific names. Who you booked with can make a big difference as to whether you will or will not get the lower price.

Thanks to all who answered my question and or gave advice. My first cruise was in 1978 and last was 25years ago. We didn't have this kind of resource obviously, we had to seek out folks that had been there done that....This is a whole lot better...Glad to be aboard......
