Athens replaced Istanbul. Oceania no longer stops in Turkey, at least for a while.

Looking for suggestions for tours and operators in Athens. Also in Rhodes and Santorini. Shore excursions already listed not very attractive. I have visited all three places in the past. Looking forward for repeat visit to all three.

Any recommendations will be welcome. Sailing from Hong Kong and have all ports covered except the new/replacement ones.

The Acropolis Museum in Athens is fairly new, and is well worth a visit if you haven't seen it before.

There are also several totally amazing day trips, such as the Corinth Canal, Minos and Delphi which are easily accomplished with an Athens Hotel as your base.

Georges Taxi is our favorite in Athens, mostly because Private Guides are not permitted into so many Sites in Greece, that just getting a car and driver is a better option for some destinations. http://www.taxigreece.com/

By the way, if any of your tours can be combined with a luncheon, or dinner at one of the gorgeous restaurants at Cape Sounion, don't miss it

We're still talking about this one, ten years later...

We used Rhodes Private Tours last September when we visited on the Queen Victoria. Ours was a 4 hour tour that took us by the major sights in the Old Town, up to the stadium and panoramic views from Mount Smith Hill above the old town, and down to Lindos with its Acropolis (which is well worth the effort).

Very prompt, courteous and informative driver. We were dropped back in the old town for a longer look at our own pace and then its an easy walk back to where the ships dock. A great day.
