Weather in Israel and Greece in October?

Can anyone tell me about the weather in Israel and Greece in October. We are booked on a Holy Land cruise and a friend just told me those places are very cold in October. Hoping that isn't true. The ship also goes to Florence, Ephesus, and Malta before a transatlantic back to Florida. Any information about the weather in these place would be appreciated.

We spent 21 days in Greece, Turkey, and Egypt just this past Oct. The weather was great traveling/touring weather. 60's and 70's - towards end of the month the rain was chasing us....and caught us in Barcelona. Great trip.
