I sailed last month on the Breakaway. One night I got the super free spins on a Wonder Four machine on the FireLight game I was playing 2.40 a spin and ended up with 204 free spins payout was $1,987. The next morning I won on a Wonder Four machine again, not the same one, super fee spins on the Firelight game, ended up with $1,750 payout. Also won $900 on Mr Cashman Enchanted Eyes machine by Bar 21. Last year same cruise I won over $2,500 on Wonder Four machines super games on Firelight again. Casino has been good to me. Also saw a $15,000 winner on Quick Hit during the bonus spin round, $4,000 was won by someone on poker. $8,000 by someone else, not sure the machine. Guess we had a lucky cruise.:) And my winnings accompanied me home. :D

Even better when you bring the bread home. There's a big discussion about opening up a new casino here in my home town of Albany, NY. Looks lil wit's going to happen. Wonder if I'll be able to stay away. LOL. Maybe I'll just book a bunch of cruises.

Not to dampen anyone's parade or anything but remember that casino winnings are fully taxable as earned income for federal tax purposes and most state tax purposes as well. Whether any individual chooses to disclose winnings on his return is 100% up to that individual though of course.

Thanks for the unsolicited tangent, Buzz Killington.

Just off the Breakaway. I hit on the Quick Hits penny machine at max bet of $3 and won $3,328.00, and that hit was from a bonus spin!:D

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO TVLady3: Congrats on your win. You are now able to book another cruise, lol. Anyway, hope you continue your hot streak.

Unless you are british, in which case you get to keep every cent :D

Casino winnings in the UK are not taxed so as you are not a US taxpayer you get a special waiver to keep all the cash.

It might be the same for other nationalities as well.

I was on the same cruise as GeriC (Mar. 23-30) and I didn't hit a jackpot but I had a few decent hits. When I cashed out, I put those tickets in the safe, hoping to cash them out on the last night but I ended up having to cash a couple of them on the last day to play. Still, I ended up coming home with more than half of my gambling budget.

Also, I called CAS yesterday to see what rate they would offer me for the Oct. 5th-12th cruise on the Breakaway and they comped me a mid-ship balcony cabin so I almost feel like I broke even on this cruise:D

I did better on the Breakaway than on the Epic last December; I came home with just a small percentage of my budget on that cruise.

I also called CAS for future cruises after the March 23rd Breakaway cruise. I'm booked on the Pearl for a 3 day Bahamas cruise was comped a balcony but upgraded to an SF penthouse suite. Price for 2 of us is just under $1200 with the upgrade and for the breakaway to Bermuda next April 26, 2015 comped oceanview but am upgrading to balcony for a cost of $1600 but will see if price is any better after the Pearl cruise in October because my hubby is coming with me and he didn't for the last cruise and he will gamble as much if not more than me so I would think the comp level will be more for the Bermuda cruise. I hit a few times on the cruise of $400 and $200 amounts not big jackpots but at least 5 or 6 times of the smaller ones that kept me playing.
