Restaurants Near Brooklyn Cruise Port Hotel

We are staying at the Comfort Inn Brooklyn Cruise Port prior to a cruise. Does anyone have restaurant recommendations within walking distance of the hotel?

If you walk south on Van Brunt St there will be several choices. Nothing fancy. Have eaten at Brooklyn Crab, good food, nice atmosphere, upper level over looks the harbor. It is approx. a 10 or so short block walk. You will pass the other places to eat walking towards it. Enjoy your cruise!

a ten-minute walk away is the fairway market with nice restaurants...you can even see it from the ship...behind it you can see IKEA...

there is a water taxi from the market and IKEA for 5$ going to Manhatten/Wall Street.

We are booked on the Regal Princess next October that will depart from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. We have reserved a couple of nights pre-cruise at the Comfort Inn so thanks for the restaurant suggestions. Which airport is most convenient to the hotel? We don't plan on renting a car, probably taking a taxi to the hotel. Don't want the hassle of using the subway system with a lot of luggage!!

LGA is the closest. Taxi fare should be about $35 (it varies by route driven and traffic) plus tip.
