Booking Dining Reservations

We have a an odd numbered family, we are five. Whenever I try to make a dining reservation, I'm offered very limited times, usually one or two options. But when I change to a party of 4 or 6, there are miraculously numerous times available. Are there any implications to booking a party of 6 then switching once onboard?

I would think that would be ok. At least you can get the times you want. I assume you're talking about specialty dining.

Book for 6 all you want. Gives a few a little bit more elbow room to shovel some food down... :)

People do it all the time.

You can switch once onboard by going to the reservation desk, calling the reservation line or by going to the actual dinning venue.
