1-14-16 Thursday Weigh-In...Time To Rise And Shine

Good morning all - "rise and shine and hope for a poem from Belle"!!!

Back down to 178 this morning so I'm happy with the recovery so far.

Back on the rails - taking my fiber supplement as I've read that is one super easy but very effective way to address belly fat and digestive health in general. (If I ate veggies like normal people I probably wouldn't need to but just never enjoyed them...)

Really trying to limit the carbs and stick to high protein and a few good fats. NO SUGAR! I knew that had to be the reason for my lethargy and I was right - energy and motivation is better and just feel better in general.

Have a great week everyone - hopefully we'll get back to some menu sharing - there are some awesome cooks that pop in from time to time and I love to hear and try new dishes. Did a salmon somebody mentioned a couple weeks ago and it was awesome!

Hi all!

Belle ~ nice ditty!

shootr ~ way to get back on track!

Well, if my scale's to be believed I'm down 1.4 lbs which I find strange. Anyhow I weighed myself 3 times & got the same answer so I'll take it!;)

Have a nice day & good luck in our quest to shed some weight. I'd love to know how to get rid of belly fat as that's my problem area.

~ Jo ~ :)

Hi everyone!

Great job shootr and Jo, keep up the good work!

No movement on the scale for me this week. Went to the gym regularly, but I think I need to stop reading cruise reviews, too many pictures of delicious food.

Thanks for the thread and the poem Belle!

Thanks Belle,

I can't tell you how worthwhile it has been - the ups and downs - but every time I put on my new clothes, or look at old pics, it is like a little pat on the head and reminder to try every day to not go overboard.

I feel like a zealot sometimes, and I don't want to be a preacher - I just really appreciate being able to come here and check in and verbalize what I'm feeling, what I'm struggling with, what was awesome.

I just wish the positive energy/karma/joojoo - whatever you want to call it that I feel most days, could be lasered out to everyone else that might need a little some days.

I imagine there are tons of weight loss boards out there, but I know the honesty and the will of the people that come here are what makes it most rewarding to me - gives me the most real connection to others in the same boat as me.

Well, have a good week everyone - see you Thursday.

A Bakery! Stay Strong shootr!

Yes I wish your positive energy/karma/joojoo or

whatever could be passed on to ME and others.

I sure need something to get me going. I'm staying

the same but I need to lose!!!!

Keep on coming in and telling us how your doing.

It helps us to know it can be done and we need to work harder.

I'm trying to eat less carbs (sugar the most) and trying

to have food at hand to grab so not to grab something

I shouldn't. It's been harder to cook since my husband death.

Easier just to grab something easy to eat and not cook.

Trying to end this habit.

Now exercise is a different matter. Need a lot of work

to do on that. I'm a work in progress!

So you keep up the good work and tell us all how/what

your doing and giving us the great pictures you take.
