BBMacLaird Posted October 28, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Lee Abbamonte, the Destination Expert Blogger who is sailing onboard the Azamara Quest, posted this blog today about The Ancient City of Pergamon. This looks like a place I want to go, although I do get a bit of vertigo just looking at his photos :)
midwestchick Posted October 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 29, 2014 After doing the cable car ride in Elba and the chair lift on Anacapri up to Monte Solaro, I would do this in a heartbeat. Granted, I am afraid of heights and understand the vertigo but I know it wouldn't stop me. I was not aware this even existed. Thanks for sharing, Bonnie. The pictures are stunning. Phxazzcruisers Posted October 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 29, 2014 It was incredible. It was one of the places substituted on our Black Sea Cruise for the Ukraine and we were very happy. It is someplace we never would have thought of going to, but very happy we did.

BBMacLaird Posted October 30, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted October 30, 2014 Lonely Planet named Thessaloniki Greece as one of the Top Five Party Cities in the World! Yet what catches my attention is his claim it has an incredible cafe culture. I love trying coffees in my travels. Have you been to Thessaloniki?
