How gay friendly is Royal Caribbean?

A little late to the party here, but we leave on RC Explorer of the Seas this Thursday and was wondering how friendly it is with its gay and lesbian passengers? Do they have a FOD or any other gay group meets?

Thanks for any responses in advance!

Very gay friendly. There is sometimes a FOD/LGBT posted on the bulletin board next to Guest Relations. It all depends on the cruise director, if it is posted. If you find there is none posted you can post your own, there is posted sheets and pen there. You may find the posted time inconvenient to attend and if so just post what time and venue you would like.

Enjoy

Hi

We've been on 15 cruises with RCI, never had a problem with beds together, getting photographed as a couple or any issues with staff or other cruisers. The FOD meetings they plan always seem at strange times so you may want to put a notice up with a more popular time or place. Explorer is a lovely ship, there was a lot of family onboard when we were on, she has a nice Gym and separate steam and Sauna in the locker rooms.

Also no issues whatsoever here on any Royal Caribbean cruise (or other cruise line, for that matter). On all Royal Caribbean cruises that I have been on, they DID NOT post the FOD/LGBT gathering details in the daily paper. It was only posted on the bulletin board by the reception desk. And as other's have said, it wasn't always at the best time. So it was often adjusted thru the cruise. If no one has already posted, feel free to post your own notice.
