Huahine can you book at the port?

we have a weak roll call and I am wondering if private shore excursions are available at the port in Huahine, we will only be there 1/2 day . thanks

I am on the same cruise as you are (May 12-23) and my understanding was we arrive in Huahine at 8 AM and leave at 5 PM. Is this incorrect? I booked Marc's Motu Picnic and 4 x 4. We are supposed to meet at 9 AM and be back at 3:30 PM. Am I going to have a problem?

You may want to recheck itinerary - doesnt make sense to have half a day in Huahine.

I would ask Marc whether he can arrange a half day excursion with snorkelling.

The paperwork that was given to me said 8am to 5pm. I will either call my TA on Monday or Pg to see why my info was incorrect. Then I will go from there with Marc I guess. Thanks.

it may not make sense but we are arriving on a Sunday. all the pg excursions are 3 hours or less. we are traveling with a medical group and all the documents say 12-5 for the port time.

Page 19 has our itinerary, Huahine Noon to 5PM.

Yes but though the book showed us all day in rangiroa in actual fact we were there for only half day.

The book is issued some time in advance and some things change.

Ok,so I called PG twice. Both times they told me that we arrive in Huahine at 8 AM. However, when I asked about the excursions they told me that there were none in the morning, only the afternoon. I also called my TA and she said she had just received our documents and they also said we were arriving at 8 AM. I'm wondering how many people on the ship will be with the medical conference and I see they have a class in the morning at Huahine so maybe that is why they are not having any excursions in the morning. The PG representative assured me that we could leave the ship in the morning. I hope she is right.

Huahine excursions are usually half day.

They used to have a motu picnic but it didnt get good reviews and is not as good as marc's.

I just heard (on our roll call) from someone who just came back from his cruise with the same itinerary and he confirmed that they got into Huahine at 8AM and there were tenders that went from 8:30 AM even though the PG excursions weren't until the afternoon. I'm feeling much better about being able to make Mark's motu picnic and 4 x4. I am really looking forward to it. Thanks.
