Princess18 Posted April 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2015 Does Princess offer transport from Southampton port to Heathrow? We are wondering if we can our purchase one-way transport, typically we can purchase while on the ship when returning from the Caribbean to Ft Lauderdale to the Ft Laud airport, not sure if we can when purchase when returning to Southampton. We have arranged other transport from the airport, we just need one way back to Heathrow. Thank you.

John Bull Posted April 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2015 Yes, Princess offer a coach transfer to Heathrow, yes you can book on board that cruise subject to availability. Over-priced of course, but more reasonable than Cunard, RCI & others. Off the top of my head, around $65 pp? Princess advise it for flights after about 12.30. Nat Express is much cheaper at about £18 pp, even allowing for a £5 to £8 taxi ride from ship to coach station. You need to pre-book to be sure of seats, they sometimes book-out. http://www.nationalexpress.com/home.aspx Select Southampton coach station, not cruise terminal - that applies only to Fred Olsen ships. You'll need a coach scheduled to get you to your airport terminal by two hours before flight time. Train isn't the best option for this journey, but there's a frequent service so it can be a useful Plan B if your arrangements foul-up. A private transfer will cost you £80+ for a sedan. Journey time 80 minutes minimum (Sat or Sun) but allow two hours on weekdays. Frequently recommended on Cruise Critic: http://www.smithsforairports.com http://www.westquaycars.com http://www.aquacars.co.uk Usually unassisted disembarkation from 7am, regular staggered disembarkation from 7.30 - generally no problem getting an early slot to suit your onward travel needs. HRPro Posted April 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2015 You can prebook the Princess transfer for $59 pp and pay with your cruise fare. They transport you directly from the ship to Heathrow and also to London to Victoria Station.
