Cell Phones in Belize?

Can anyone tell me which cell phone companies work in Belize?

I would love to know the answer to this question too. I would be interested in knowing the answer for the western Carribean in general if possible.

I am from Ontario Canada and I have Rogers Wireless as a cell service provider,

In the 10 months I have had cell service in the following countries

Grand Cayman

Cozumel

Belize

Costa May

Nassau

Turks and Caicos

St. Thomas

St. Lucia

Barbados

Antigua

Castaway Cay

And at sea while sailing the Fantasy last week...

I arranged for an international plan before I left, and they gave me dialing instructions, some areas you need to dial a country code before the number...

My cell charges were anywhere from .35 cents a minute to .95 cents...

I place and received calls from almost all of these countries with the exception of Half Moon Cay I could not make any calls... LOL

Can anyone tell me which cell phone companies work in Belize?

Cingular works but make sure you get the international plan (which you can cancel upon returning) so the roaming and minute charges are lower.
