Hi all! As a recent Diamond member, I received a letter that says I get a 1 time free meal for 2 at a specialty restaurant. I was thinking about using it on my Vista sailing next month to take DH to the steakhouse on his birthday. My question is....when I go to book online, I see I have to pre-pay. There is no spot to show that it is a Diamond meal or anything. If I was to pre-pay, then show up with the letter once onboard, would they refund the price to my onboard account? Or should I just try and wait and book once onboard? Thanks for any help/insight!

I Gede was fantastic on our cruise on the Vista. We didn't have many requests, but when we did he handled them promptly (like within 5 minutes) and always with a smile! Jendra (I think I spelled that right) was also at Havana bar some during our sailing. He was nice, but I had my favorite person there already by the time I saw him working. Man, I could use a Cuban Iced Tea right now!

OMG I am so glad your GoPro was found, that would have been awful! I am always afraid to trust the straps/etc for cameras/phones/etc and hang onto them as well as wrapping the straps around my wrist.

Ahhh, my favorite place to eat in PC! I may have to try that risotto, it looks yummy! And poor Ol' Stumpy.....I can't believe she JUST got her tail replaced and lightning took it out again. I am soooo jealous of your view!! Vista Havana area all the way for the win! It's the best way to sail a Carnival ship!

Ya know....Chris and I may have to try Ryan's when we sail from PC again. It looks pretty cool! I do love my Fishlips tho.....

I have to admit, I am not a fan of the breakfast buffet, so I really hope Carnival doesn't do away with sit down breakfast. The "eggs" on the buffet are less than appealing, and the eggs benedict the 2 times I tried them from up there were soggy and gross. I do love Blue Iguana, so if they do away with sit down I guess that will become my go-to.
