Tomorrow!!!!

I am on the Mareviglia now in a YC balcony room and the sewer smell from the bathroom is nauseating. Tried the water trick, didnt work. Hoping they can do something. We have the balcony door open for air. Any suggestions on how to address this? This is my first MSC experience and so far- not impressed.

May I ask if you set up the line of credit before you board or at the casino, once on board. I don’t like traveling with so much cash and hate paying ATM fees.

I will be on the Epic in 10 days and the Joy in May. Interested in hearing what the Casino Host has to say about this.

I play at Pearl level. CAS is definitely playing games. I had one agent tell me I had a 7 day inside but I was not prepared to book. When I called back I was told “oh no, that is for one specific tournament cruise”. That agent was able to convert that to a certificate which we booked then upgraded to Haven using a 4800 FCC we had. When a significant price drop occurred, called CAS back and the agent said “we can’t offer you anything, you are getting a Haven room for $95 per person.” The invoice showing does not reflect our FCC from a cancelled cruise so basically we paid more by booking thru CAS. Looking at Royal and MSC now. Pity as we are 2 cruises away from Diamond.

We are booked on the Oct. 17 NY to Galveston. Our original booking was for the Inaugural that just cancelled. Having BEEN on an Inaugural many years ago (Holland America Zuiderdam). I can tell you it is not all glitter and glitz. Entire sections of the waste system knocked/backed up is one example on that sailing. Best to wait a few months for them to work the bugs out.
