That is not how it was explained to me. One time I accidentally turned my points into free play on the machine by hitting a wrong button and was told because I did that was SOL. Usually the shops close at 11, which is the stressful part. They typically say to stop back the last night late. So at 10 or so I do, and they do some sort of calculation, and say go spend x amount charge it to my room, come back with the receipt, and they take it off the bill. But it is hard to spend that much in a short period of time knowing that they are closing, at least for me. It would be easier to just have charges to apply them against already on my account, we just never do. It is always a lot more, several hundred dollars more, than what the free play amount is. Except for the time I turned it into free play in the middle of the cruise, amount was significantly less.
