We are all just getting back from this most remarkable journey through the Panama Canal. The added port of Huatulco was one of the best! Postings are starting on the original thread and reviews should be going on for the next couple of weeks. Some folks had Florida add-ons and won't post reviews until the end of the month. In short, you missed an absolutely incredible cruise. Keep an eye out. After 19 nights we all have some stories and detailed reviews coming.:D

If the October 10 sailing was the extension of the Panama Canal cruise, I can assure you that Pearl sailed full. Not only was it full, it carried the most kids I have seen on any cruise including summer cruises I have taken. There seemed to be an unusually large number very energetic of pre-teen and younger boys. Maybe I just kept running into them.

On the second night both theater shows had every seat filled! The ex-Ringling Brother clowns called SharkBait were hilarious.

Most people appeared to be having a pretty good time. The weather was just the right temperature on Great Stirrup Cay with a very nice breeze. Stormy clouds were around, but we were in a fair weather doughnut hole!

There was an adorable cat there, the color of sand. He loved fried chicken, but ignored hot dogs. My son named him "Stir It Up" after the Bob Marley song the band was playing when the cat visited our picnic table.

Thanks, I'll keep watching for the reviews.

I had an accident and had to cancel this

trip, which was really disappointing. Will try

again, next year for something similar.

I wasn't on the cruise, but I just wanted to say that you have my deepest condolences on your loss!! :( I hope you're feeling better soon and next year you get to enjoy a perfect cruise! :)

Thanks for the kind wishes. I go for a second round of skin grafts on Wed. and little by little, I am getting back to normal.

Next cruise is scheduled for Jan 2.....should be good to go by then.

I'll keep checking for reviews......the freestyle deck was interesting

but not quite what I had in mind;)

All of the kids boarded in Miami for the weekend cruise. We only had about a dozen kids onboard the Panama Canal cruise SEA/MIA. Average age on the 19 nights was 62.5 yrs. Maybe about a thousand passengers short of full. Again, it was a great cruise and sorry you missed it Barbara. Take care and best wishes for good health and a wonderful cruise in January.

Yeah, but the first paragraph gives you a quick review. Sorry you were disappointed in my help.
