This is from Cruise Critic. It looks like details are still being worked, but full vaccination with very limited exceptions, and testing before entering Canada. Whether the second will apply to a return to Vancouver or a stop in Victoria after a stop in Alaska may be TBD. There's a link in the article to the Canadian documents.

Doesn’t seem that different from what I would have expected and what has been occurring.

Can someone post a link so I can get some info? We have a Vancouver RT cruise scheduled and can not find any new (to us) updates to the travel restrictions currently in place? Should we start a backup plan?
I have a similar cruise - the only thing I could find is 100% vaccinated for crew and passengers which I wouldn’t think would be that hard for celebrity

It is the date on the test kit. As i understand it the kits originally had a 9 month shelf life and was extended to 12 months. So if you look at the label and add 3 months to the expiration date that is the new expiration date.

It is now 15 months- I would call to be safe

We received 2 boxes from Emed. Both expired prior to mailing them out. We returned them 3 weeks ago & are still waiting for our refund. Thus be careful.
The expiration dates have been extended - you can call them to confirm the date. The one I have originally expired in October and now goes til April.

We did not experience any unrest on December 17th 2021. This was less than a month ago but things may have changed since especially with the Omnicrom surge.
Around the time we went there was quite a bit - blocking roads and such - cruise excursions before and after us were cancelled and folks told to avoid the French side. Not sure if there are still issues. The other reason we did cruise excursion is we had read the traffic could be horrible and didn’t want to risk it.
-
We went there in November via cruise excursion. Main reason was of the unrest that has been happening on the French side and we wanted to make sure we had the guarantee of taking the cruise excursion.

Guesstimating from the deck plans, maybe 60 on deck 2 and around 80 on deck 7.
I do know on the silhouette in November the 6th floor was pretty much blocked off but I believe mostly for crew as they were trying to spread the crew members out. I don’t believe it was all for isolation cabins.

Found this at the bottom of the page when booking a cruise:
Celebrity’s “Cruise with Confidence” program provides individual guests and guests in non-contracted groups who booked a cruise on or before October 31, 2021, on sailings between June 12, 2020 and May 4, 2022 (June 30, 2022 for Australia and New Zealand residents) with the option to either (i) opt-in for our Cruise with Confidence “best price guarantee” on their current sailing up to 48 hours prior to the vacation start date, or (ii) cancel their cruise up to 48 hours prior to the vacation start date and elect to receive a Future Cruise Credit under the Cruise with Confidence program equal to the amount of the cruise fare the guest paid for their cruise. To receive the benefit of “Cruise with Confidence” guests may opt-in by calling CEL at 1-800-437-3111. Visit https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-with-confidence for complete details.

Was the tour thru the ship or a private tour company?
Thru the ship - we had to - at least at that time.

We snorkeled in Barbados and it was great. They took us to an area with turtles and ten to a small ship wreck. This was last month.

Im so enjoying reading your updates! We board the cruise after you on Dec 3rd.
I'm really interested in how many guests are on the ship... does it seem close to capacity? Would love to know how many are on board!
We had a little over 1200 on the 11/12 cruise

So sorry. I guess you can't book this on the app?
Nope

I’m on Silhouette right now and I got on before 11 and went straight to book this and it was fully booked 😞. Only allowing 6 people I believe. Last I heard it was $150 pp

Interestingly, unless I missed it (in which case, my apologies), there hasn't been any further discussion of a 14-day "quarantine" for the ship (two weeks without guests) before she starts sailing out of the U.S. this month, nor a change in her first U.S. sailing. I know some folks were very concerned about possible changes to the initial U.S. sailing because of what appeared to be that 14-day rule from the CDC. Anyone have any further info on this?
It’s voluntary for Florida - I’m assuming they maybe decided on middle ground that 11 days was a good compromise??

I just don't want to be sure so we don't inadvertently fry our lifelines lol.
I get it 🙂. It should be just like it is when in Europe!

We've sailed many times and always take an approved multiport USB charger that we leave plugged into one of the two American outlets at the desk to charge all of our devices. I was wondering if I could plug an adapter (not converter) into the European plug to be able to plug the multiport USB into that and free up the outlet. Thanks in advance.
I would think you could!

Our vaccine info is showing up in the App for our Nov. cruise. And yet we still got a phone call from Celebrity asking us to validate! Of course we weren't home and they left us a message telling us to call "at our convenience". Been on the phone now for close to 45 minutes waiting. They send you to the standard reservation number. If I wasn't just sitting here doing other things on the computer I would have given up 40 minutes ago. Why can't Celebrity get their act together?!?! Not only is my info there, but we sailed in September and of course had to prove vaccination then. Thank heaven the experience onboard is nothing like their abysmal customer service and IT.
Same thing happened to me - waited for 2 hours and the rep was basically useless - I had to tell him a couple times why I called and he just said are you vaccinated - I said yes and that was it.

I was wondering to!

I don’t think so - I’m two weeks out and have been able to print mine for at least a week.
And I should also say haven’t been able to put my vaccine information in yet.

Does anyone see any correlation between the approval of the vaccine and the ability to print off the luggage tags?
I am three weeks away from the cruise and still unable to print my luggage tags.
I don’t think so - I’m two weeks out and have been able to print mine for at least a week.
Cruise booked on board
in Celebrity Cruises

I have a question - I think I unfortunately know the answer but folks on here are so savvy I thought I would verify. I booked a future placeholder cruise while on a cruise in 11/2021. I had 90 days to book a cruise (with lower deposit of $200 and OBC). I booked an Alaska cruise in 12/2021. I generally use Marriott Vacation Club points for the cruise and I let my travel agent (the one I'm required to use) know this but wanted to wait to use the points because things were still so uncertain (I had done this for my prior cruise). When I called last week (since close to final payment) to apply the points I was told because I hadn't applied the points when I booked....my only option was to cancel and rebook...needless to say I wasn't happy but had no choice according to them. So for my actual question- they cancelled my cruise and took my refundable deposit and made it OBC and said I lost my other OBC (for booking on board). Is this true? I thought it would move with me - as it has in the past. I'm thinking that because I had to actually cancel the cruise vs just move the current cruise to another sailing that is why I lost it? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
