  1. Great deal, I may do the same. Our next cruise is 14 nights, plus we're wanting to book a 7+ night Mexican Riviera cruise next fall. $350 credit really eats away at that cost.
  2. I warned that Carnival Pride was heading south a couple years ago, and it wasn't well received. Incredible the state of things now, and that loyalists will go so far as defending open holes in the decking. And if this were the state of things on a cruise ship pier, and Carnival refused to dock on it, the same cheer squad would be declaring the decision, "Amazing!"
  3. Buy the dip, great opportunity to pick up 100 shares for perks!
  4. Easy fix, you just have the ships sail in pairs, and SB becomes a floating Haven, Retreat, or Yacht Club. At night, Seabourn passengers can tender over to Holland America ships for live music, the World Stage, and Kings Day parties.
  5. Carnival pays people to run HAL now. Even if management costs increase, It is more important to get the cruise line into solvent hands, free of 80 - 90% debt to assets, which goes up every quarter.
  6. I am definitely in favor of HAL being purchased by someone with a clean slate, with the proper focus and financial backing. The sooner the better for both HAL's future, and Carnival's debt burden (interest rates aren't getting any better). Maybe the corporation that purchased Azamara would be a contender?
