  1. Hi Kazu,I saw this thread after I booked, but I did book it with all the special offers.I do have a question.I booked a Vista Suite. Its on deck 8 aft,and is room 216 which is a BC category. It shows there is no walk in closet.Does this mean its a new addition, and where would the best areas be to have a Vista Suite? :)

  2. Hi everyone. We will be sailing Prindendam and HAL for the first time to N. Europe late June, early July next summer. The special offer for this ship plus her size caught my eye. And the fact that she is spending 5 stops in Scotland is the biggest plus.We had a cruise all set for next month, but unfortunately a minor heart procedure in lat May turned into a full blown problem. So I will have a year to heal and not as big a ship to have to travel through. I'm excited to give HAL a try.:)

  3. You can also send an e-mail asking to be personally notified when and if it will be available. Last fall we did a BTB on Sunshine, and a couple months before sailing were offered a suite upgrade, and a week later received an e-mail offering FTF! I think it depends on how many Diamond and Patinum members are sailing before they decide to release.

  4. I can't say that I agree here.Decided to try NCL,western Caribbean 7 day cruise out of Tampa in Nov.Added the drink package and the dining package.Mini suite, then it was all added up,service charges are all added on for both plus the room price was higher.Their balcony was 200$ higher than Carnival, and we'll be on Sunshine.Saved over 2,000 by switching to Carnival. Those so called "deals" have hidden costs. You have to really do your homework to make sure its worth itJMHO.

  5. Hello Everyone,

I will be sailing on September 27, 2015 to the Bahamas, and I am in search of the Sunshine 5 day Fun Times. Does anyone happen to have a copy?

Specifically I wanted to know what day was the elegant night, Dr Seuss brunch, and also what was available to do on board during port days?

Thanks in advance for any help!

we're sailing on this one too!

  6. Hi,Booked an 8 day Cruise on Sunshine last month while on Victory, and got military rate.So yesterday I see military rate special, and see a 5 day Bahamas trip on Sunshine the day we get back.So I've booked it.I was able to reserve the same room on the 2nd trip, and know I can leave everything in the room, and have to debark, but couldn't find out anymore?!Sunshine looks and sounds like a nice ship.Appreciate any comments!;):)

  7. Wish we were on your cruise then, we just got off this morning and had the complete opposite experience.

We had ALOT of rude fellow passengers and the crew was less friendly that any other cruise we have been on.

Hopefully our trip in September will be better.

I'm so sorry to hear your trip didn't go well for you and hope your next one is better. This was only our 2nd time on Carnival, our first time was not good.I always try to be optomistic when we sail!

  8. Its also possible that they may be manufacturing more and restocking them and then bringing them back. I work for a grocery chain that gives you 10$ off on 50.$gas cars. When the program first launched stores were constantly running out. Production was increased and stores would be notified when the next sale was so that stores could stock up ahead of time . Only time will tell.[emoji4]

  9. We just got off Victory Saturday morning. We booked a FTTF,and had to be in the dining room with Diamond and Platinum by 7:30.They were in a separate area behind us.They were out first, and then we were called. We were off the ship by 7:45,and in our car by 8 am,and on the road a few minutes later. To avoid the crowds we left our room about 7:20,and used the elavators. We had one large suitcase,a small suitcase,a carry bag,and a couple reusable shopping bags for everything we bought. No problems!:D;)
