  1. Bonaire today, Kelvin Joy is a wonderful cd. It's la bit complicated in the evenings trying to do everything he has going on, boy you have to plan things out. All good so far. Transatlantic will be interesting not done a east bound before.

  2. Princess cruises (pcl) has announced a new effort to become a more enviromental company by introducing controls on wasted toliet paper. The new policy comes into force on all sailings commencing after April 1st 2014 and will see a nominal charge levied on rolls of toilet paper. A charge of $3 plus 15 percent gratuity will be added to your stateroom folio, Princess will provide 1 free roll per 7 days sailing. These new charges do not apply to suite and elite passengers. More details at http://www.princess.com/toilettissue.

  3. DO NOT remove the "cabin tip" shown on your folios as the hotel charge. By the way it isn't per cabin the charge is per person and will appear on both you and your daughter's folio. If you remove it any additional cash tips provided to staff must be turned in and shared by all in the pool. You gain nothing with this approach and stand to lose good service.

Regarding wine, you may bring one 750ml bottle of wine on board at no charge for use in your cabin. Additional bottles of wine may be carried on board and are charged a $15 corkage fee per bottle. These bottles will be marked and can be used anywhere on the ship. Your daughter is not 21 so she is not permitted to carry on wine. You may not bring any beer or spirits on board.

The auto tip is an option, if you want to remove it you can, it a personal choice for you to make. You dont have to be orded by a cc member not to to take it off.

  4. The laundry for sheets and towels and such, and the dry cleaning facilities are totally different.

Crew uniforms are dry cleaned, but I believe they have to pay for their personal clothing to be done, so a fair amount may choose to use the self-service crew laundry. Presumably the dry cleaning equipment is set up to accommodate a certain amount of items. Obviously they account for passenger usage (complimentary and paid) in that capacity.

In some voyages I'm sure it's not a problem if the passenger demand is higher than expected. On the Royal transatlantic that everyone talks about, there were nearly as many Elites as crewmembers, so it's not hard to see how the system could get overwhelmed.

they are not totally different, they are done in the exact same room

  5. Why does everyone think Princess doing your laundry is that big a deal, stop and think how many towels, bedding , table cloths, crew uniform is done everyday. washing a few items for a few elite passengers is probably less than 5 percent of the total work load. I'm sure people want it limiting the way they go on and on and on about it

  6. How much tv do you watch on a ship, that's unlimited. If I watch it all day am I being greedy. I have unlimited minutes on my home phone, if I use that am I greedy. What you makes no sense, when internet was unlimied how could you be greedy by using it. Wifi stopped it nothing else.

Internet was not unlimited when I became platinum so you can't blame me, it must be other idiots. As you call them who sail Princess.
