We had 12 days on Ventura in October, and throughly enjoyed the cruise. We didn’t use the Epicurean or Sindu, so can’t comment on those The glass house was only serving drinks, and MDR was at the usual standard ( although the choices may have been slightly restricted) . We felt it was a very friendly ship. Have a wonderful cruise.

We did a Marcella on Discovery just prior to covid, chosen for the itinerary (from Jamaica to Cuba, Porto Rico and partial Panama Canal transit) Although we really enjoyed the ports was not very impressed with the ship. Most of the bars felt like a fast food outlet, and the Atrium was very difficult to get a table each evening. The balcony cabin seemed to have been furnished from a jumble sale, with odd bedside chests etc. For us we thought the P & O ships (tried both Azura and Brittania) were a class above.

Hi Everyone, We are visiting Porto on our Ventura cruise in October. Can anyone advise if P and O provide a shuttle bus from the port to Porto City centre. Also, if anyone can give advise on booking a short Douro river cruise independently, that would be much appreciated. We have booked Select fare, so hoping to get free transportation!

Hi everyone, getting rather anxious regarding the testing on Friday, prior to boarding Iona on Saturday. Has anyone any advice regarding loading multiple tests onto the app. Is it better to do each one individually, rather than we all do the tests at the same time and then panic to get them onto the app within the 15 minute timescale. Any help much appreciated!

Does anyone know if Wesley Dunlop is currently on board Iona. We sail next week, and I can’t wait to experience his “pirouetting” the ship in a Norwegian fiord!

Can anyone who has cruised recently on Iona let us know which restaurants will be open on embarkation day. Have just printed off our boarding pass, and am surprised that we have an early boarding of 12.30. Can’t wait to get on board, and hoping that the buffet is not the only option for lunch. Before anyone comments, yes I am an optimist, but understand that realistically this could be afternoon tea, or even early dinner!
