My final payment is due February 2021 for my May 2021 Bermuda cruise.  I'm going to see how things go from now till then, if things are still bad, I will call Carnival and try and have my final payment date moved to March 2021 and see if Carnival cancels.  If Carnival does not cancel with things still uncertain or cruising has returned but with too many restrictions, I will most likely have to cancel the cruise.  Right now unfortunately everyone of us is in a holding pattern.

  2. My May 2021 Bermuda cruise is in question with me because no one knows what is going to happen.  Bermuda is a bucket list place for me so I will be bummed if I have to cancel cuz of this virus.  I also have an Alaska cruise booked for September 2021.  I have never been to Alaska before either.

  3. Yes.  I booked a 10 day Alaska cruise, balcony stateroom for September 2021.  I’m trying to be hopeful.  I’m such a beach bum that all my family and friends had a heart attack when I told them about going to Alaska!  This will be my first NON-beach cruise.  They are all worried for me they think the culture shock will kill me!!

Carnival Victory is/was a Destiny class cruise ship released in the year 2000. It will be coming to Long Beach April 2021

Which Panorama cruise of yours got cancelled?? As of Now the Panorama is scheduled to resume cruises in October 2020

May 9, 2020 Panorama cruise got cancelled.  I have a cruise on the Horizon for October 25, 2020, which I do believe will be cancelled as well.  I'm happy about the Radiance coming here to SoCal!

  5. I'm so sad that Carnival has decided to abandon cruises departing from this port.  This was my favorite cruise itinerary, because it was port heavy and only 1 sea day.  Loved doing a beach crawl on all the different islands.   I'm so glad I was able to do it last June 2019 with my niece to celebrate her graduation.

  6. My boss talked to her PVP at Holland America and the PVP said that the talk is that the authorities/people who make the decisions regarding letting cruise ships into the Caribbean island ports are very concerned about cruise ships bringing Covid 19 cases onto the islands.  The Caribbean islands do not have the medical infrastructure that we have here in the US to handle a lot of cases of covid 19 if that happened and the cruise lines are probably going to cancel all Caribbean cruises through 2020.  My boss told me this because I have 2 caribbean cruises planned this year.  I think a lot of ports will say no to cruise ships and more cancellations are coming.

  7. June 2019 I took my niece on a cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico for her college graduation gift.  She is a marine biologist.  When we embarked the ship, a crew member asked why we were cruising and I told him that she just graduated college and is a marine biologist and I was the proud aunt!  Somehow that info got around to all crew members, because from then on whenever we saw a crew member she was addressed as Marine Biologist and I was always addressed as Proud Aunt.  Also on that same cruise we visited St. Kitts and went on a tour with the Thenford Grey tours.  Thenford Grey himself came up to my niece and congratulated her on graduating college.  After we finished touring the Brimstone Hill Fortress, our driver had a surprise for my niece and had put in big white writing on the van’s back window CONGRATULATIONS BAILEY!

We had a great time on that cruise!  I love cruising and I hope we can all get back to it after this virus is gone.  Take care all.

  8. We had the same thing happen to us on our tour with them in June 2019.  Girl who met us at port was not feeling well and complained how bad she felt the whole way there.  The beach area is a very small area to the far left.  Beach chairs are gross. There was bugs too.  Not worth the money we paid.  They put us on a boat that did not work and we were going very very slow back to the port waiting for a different boat to transfer us to in the middle of the ocean (that was fun, 2 guys trying to hold the boats together so we could hop onto the other boat).  It was a horrible experience for the money. Awful. I would leave use them again.
