I've stated this a lot before - I think my May 2021 is probably a no go at this point.

I really don't think March 2021 cruising is feasible right now.  I have a cruise planned for May 2021 and I'm thinking that is not a go either.

That one date they show will be my 60th birthday! 

I feel 2022 is too far out to tie up my money.  If there are cancellations into 2021, like for instance, if all cruise lines cancelled thru March or April, that would make me too nervous about the stability of the cruise industry.  I have a May 2021 cruise and I’m not sure that will sail.

if you don’t care about losing your deposit, book it.  

Man, they have them all crammed in there.  So sad.  I’m watching another thread under RCI and waiting to sea also what RCI does with their oldest ship Empress on the RCI thread.

I received my email canceling my October 25th cruise.  My final payment was going to be due next Tuesday, so at least I did not have to pay that.   When they cancelled my May 9th Cruise, I never got an email.  Sorry to all who got cancelled.  My next possible, maybe cruise is in May 2021.

As far as cruising goes, 2020 is done. Hopefully we can cruise safely sometime in 2021.

I look very old too, but people still love me.

@Saint Greg   Yes, I read your Panorama LIVE cruise as you were cruising it.  I also visited your website and read some stuff there too.  I loved your beach bar crawl thru Galveston!  I don’t think I will ever cruise out of Galveston, but I would love someday to do a cruise out of New Orleans and spend a couple of days in New Orleans first. I hope we all will be able to cruise safely in 2021, I have a feeling 2020 is done for as far as cruising goes.  As always, stay safe and healthy and thanks again for the great info and tips. May the New Orleans Saints stay healthy.

Thank you for your reviews.  It’s 100 degrees in SoCal today and my cruising withdrawals are bad today.  I’m going back and reading some of your reviews to take the edge off.  I was suppose to be on the Panorama back in May. I have the Horizon in October but Im just waiting for that to be cancelled too.  I know your August cruise got cancelled.  Thank you again!

@Sunshine3601  I’ve never been to Bermuda before, it’s a bucket list place for me.  I was really looking forward to it.  I am getting the feeling as the days pass that this cruise will not happen.  I’ve cruised on the empress before, I like her because she is not what you would call a “kid friendly” ship as there is no big pool slide and kid splash zone like on the mega ships.  She is old but elegant in her own way.

That’s why I picked Empress for my Bermuda cruise, it’s a small ship and it can go into St George island harbor, other ships can’t.  

@fyree39 I think if I was a rich high end cruiser, and I paid high end dollars for a cruise, I would not pick an itinerary with key west on it.  I would want to pay for more exotic port stops for my money.  But since I’m not, I love going to key west!  I always go to the butterfly conservatory place and key west has the best shell and beach themed Christmas ornaments. They also have some specialty boutique shops that I love too.

Well, RC gave a statement to CruiseCritic that Empress was not leaving the fleet. Time will tell if that is true.

April 2015 Carnival Liberty Southern Caribbean out of SJPR.  We had so much fun!!  We did a beach crawl on each island we visited.  The water everywhere we went was picture perfect.  Beach all day and then comedy show and dancing all night.  I don't ever remember sleeping on this cruise. 

I can always find a good beach somewhere!!

113 Royal Cruises!!   WOW!!

Oh boy, I've got 2 cruises planned on the Empress for April and May of 2021.

I don't have much hope left that my May 2021 cruise will sail at this point.
