It’s also good to tell them when you don’t want to use a voucher - like if you are buying a Coke. Don’t want to waste a $14 voucher on a £$4 tin of Coke !!!! -

@Northern Aurora please can you say which route you took to the deer 🦌 as I have seen two different routes recommended? Did you take Osakako station green line to Bentencho and the the Osaka loop line to Nara? Or did you take Osakako green Chou line to Ikoma station, connecting ticket to kinetsu Nara line line A, to kinetsu Nara ? thanks. How much were the train tickets? -
Anthem of the Seas - No Sailings in October 2024?
little britain replied to CeeCee59's topic in Royal Caribbean International
This subject is raised daily on the various groups for these itineraries… the ship disappears from sale, then it’s back again. I assume they are working behind the scenes… it takes a lot of logistical planning to reroute a big ship with thousands of people on board.. they can’t just turn up! Be patient and I’m sure they will let us know. They cancel and you will get your money back, even on NRD. You may* even get OBC/FCC as a sweetener so definitely don’t cancel and lose money!!! I also have booked an all inclusive package with flights and hotels for which we paid a hefty deposit so I’m not cancelling and losing over £1000. I’ll just wait. -

I agree. They just don’t smell clean! I’ll have to pop a few of my sweet smelling laundry tabs into the bag too as a hint! -

Wonder of the Seas Broadway Shows

I think it’s one of the best. So simple - no need for any special effects ( apart from the very funky video screen) … just the natural power and beauty of the human voice. Amazing -

Royal Transatlantic Questions

@LB_NJ there is a low cost carrier called Norse which offers good one way priced flights from UK to many US cities and the Europeans carriers like TAP from Lisbon are reasonable too. -

There are over 1200 signed up to the roll call so with the number of people mentioning they are bringing kids - you get a good idea. -

The Oasis TA next month has hundreds of children. Very strange as usually there are a handful. So it will be a very different experience. I know people who have cancelled due to the number of kids onboard! West to East you lose an hour a day for 5-6 days, depending on whether you end in England or Europe. West to East means you can transport all the shopping 🛍️ you do in the USA back home easily! @Deep-Blue-Iris @snaefell East to West means 5-6 days where you gain an hour a day. I find this much more relaxing. -
We are on the same date. We plan on going over to the island. my friend who did this cruise recently advised… Docked miles away and had an hour long queue to get through immigration. The free shuttle takes you to waterfront (30mins journey - best free shuttle ever). We caught the ferry to Sakurajima island Y200 pp each way. Ferries every 15 mins. Then took the tourist bus round to an observation point - hop on off type bus but was packed so we only got off once. Try out the hot thermal foot spa by the tourist info centre and there’s an exhibition there too. Back onboard fabulous sail away with the sunset and volcano and the city. Ferry is about 5 mins walk from waterfront where the shuttle drops you off - really easy get it. Ferry and pay the other end We also arrive in from Jeju so there were very lengthy queues because they were reentering Japan - need to build this into any itinerary planning!

my Nagasaki research shows: Take the first green line tram, from stop number 48, Ourakaigan-Dori; on the left as you leave terminal. Take green line 5, to Tsuki-Machi to switch trams. Stop number 31. Only costs 120 yen ($1.20 each way). Then take the blue line from there, (stop 31 Tsuki-Machi) to stop 20 Hamaguchi-Machi. This is the stop for the Atomic Bomb Museum, and is right next to the Memorial Hall and Peace Park too.

Transatlantic Release Dates?
little britain replied to Minorhawk's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Given that RCI have abandoned the Norway/ Arctic itineraries in 2025 I wouldn’t hold your breath for 2026. Brilliance is only doing the northern route crossing because she is over here for a short eclectic Med season after her dry dock. Unless they bring another Radiance class over here for drydock in 2026 I wouldn’t expect any August TAs
