  1. Yes, 4 years later and the issue is still the same as to cabin selection. Besides, getting insight from those who already made the decision will be quite helpful!
  2. I'm going through this same decision right now and looks like I'm leaning towards 5190. It's a scenic itinerary and I think we'll spend a lot of time on the balcony. To those of you who had these Neptune aft suites, are the cabins large enough inside for 3 people? Looks like the sofa bed is awful close to the regular bed from the pictures I've seen.
  3. Thank you everyone! Your comments, pictures and videos were very helpful!
  4. Looking to book a suite on Diamond Princess. Saw that the Owner's suite B751 has obstructed view from a support beam? Is it really bad? Should I get the Penthouse suite next to it - B753 - instead because of this? We normally really like aft cabin balconies for the view both ways and this is a scenic itinerary. The only other suites open are front of the ship and I heard those aren't good because of the wind factor and mid-ship.
  5. I've been trying to read the Cabin Reviews for Westerdam to help me choose what suite type to book and the links aren't working for me. I've tried in both Chrome and Safari. Is anyone else having these problems?
  6. We did the Baltic cruise on the Brilliance (sister ship to the Jewel) last summer and it was fabulous! This class of ship is our favorite and the itinerary is amazing. We went off on our own in all of the ports, which was quite easy to do, except St Petersburg where we hired a private guide and driver.
  7. I saw on princess website you can bring 1.bottle of wine/champagne up to 750ml per person but can’t find anything on their policy for bringing onboard bottled water? Can you do that and if so what is the limit? Do you carry it on or check it in duffle or small suitcase?
  8. Yes, that's correct that it's per day. Keep in mind though that most of the Navigator sailings are short cruises. This was a 3 day cruise so it was an insignificant amount added to a very inexpensive inside cabin. Suite prices on these sailings are quite significant in comparison.
  9. EXTREMELY disappointed in Navigator of the Seas in respect to Suite guests! We were on Mariner of the Seas (sister ship out of Canaveral) end of May and on embarkation had a lovely lunch in the main dining room. We were just on Navigator out of Miami and went to the main dining room expecting the same. We were told to go to Chops. When we arrived at Chops we were told that there was nothing for suite guests and the offered lunch was only for those who purchased the Key. WOW! So you can book an inside cabin and pay the $20 or whatever the key costs for your sailing and get treated better than s
