That’s kind of what I thought. We’re pretty happy with the balcony cabin we have so thinking the stress and frenzy of the live bidding isn’t worth it for us.

Has anyone ignored the real time bidding emails and still been upgraded? Got a real time bidding email for 2 of our upgrade offers today. Tempted but…

Nah, don’t really want thermal spa since I have Vibe and no desire to upgrade anything else - happy with the FAS offers. Good ideas though! 😃

So, I’ve already paid for excursions, Vibe, and made final payment on my Dec cruise. I can use my Amex for prepaid service charges but will need to spend $400 more to get to $1000. Does anyone know if I can buy OBC and if I don’t use all of it get it refunded somewhere other than back to my Amex card? Thanks!

When we first booked our December 2023 cruise the Vibe showed as sold out. I tried online, online chat and calling and was told it was sold out each time. I kept checking back (via the app) every few days and one day a couple of weeks ago it was again available. I was able to book it for both my husband and myself. So, sold out does not always mean sold out. I don't know why it came back as available, but it did for the cruise we are on; so if I were you I would keep checking back. If it doesn't open back up for sale, I'd check as soon as I get on the ship. Good luck!

I can’t really add anything new but decided to comment that we love Escape. We’ve been on her 3 times and had great experiences every time. The spa, Vibe and Spice H2O are all wonderful areas to “escape “kiddos but really we’ve never had an issue at the regular pools. 😉

The Spirit is one of our favorite ships! The ship is small but that’s one of the things we love about her. The crew (as OP said) was hands down the best we’ve ever had! Loved our time on this ship and would love to cruise on her again!

I believe you can make all of your dining package reservations ahead of time as they are ala carte so you make the reservation and use your dining package to pay when you go to the restaurant. We are latitudes members and get "two free meals" and I am always able to book them as well as my free at sea meals prior to the cruise. Another place you can use dining package meals is at The Food Republic. They have sushi and appetizer portions. Sometimes DH and I will use one of our meals there for lunch.
