  1. The female Hungarian Latin Dancers put together a video that's fun. I can recognize 4 members of the Crystal teams. https://www.facebook.com/latindancegroup/videos/3264244060299547/
  2. My post of a month ago, also died of '"Let's be realistic". Has anyone suggested a cruise to nowhere? If it is possible to screen/test all passengers and crew for the virus, would it not be a good idea to offer a cruise that perhaps takes a look at something scenic (even if only water) and satisfies our desire to cruise and at the same time keeps the staff at work? There would still be problems with the logistics of getting to the ship, but if a test is developed that is quick and sure, maybe such a thing would work. I would sign up for a 14 day cruise that had all of Crystal's great sea day offerings, maybe a Ballroom Dance theme too, that cruised and stopped at a port or ports for supplies and mild diversion.
  3. I passed on your comments. He was delighted. Suggests you take a look at the 666er companion with white chocolate, "Fallen Angels". I have become dependent on the 6ers and might have to special request next time we are aboard Symphony.
  4. On the subject of food and cooking: A friend of mine who does a lot of cruising on Crystal keeps a great recipe food blog called Fast.Good.Easy. Just like it sounds, and healthy to boot. If you are curious, it is www.fastgoodeasy.com. No advertising or self promotion at all.
  5. It is a triumph if at the end of a long cruise I can walk all the way up the aft outside stairs without seeing stars.
  6. Hmmm, that sounds like a possible rules violation. 😁
  7. Official Rules Change: In "Things I Miss Most": Well crafted duplicates are allowed. A sub category has been added:" Little Things I Miss" I'll start. I miss dressing up. I miss staying up late.
  8. I miss the months long anticipation of the next cruise. I miss coffee in the Marketplace before sunrise and seeing the early morning crew at work.
  9. I am hoping one of my fellow dance enthusiasts can help out. If you were on Serenity for the TA Ballroom theme cruise last November, and were at the dance showcase at the end of the cruise, maybe you have a video? I danced the last showcase dance with wonderful Eniko of the dance team, but my family forgot about the event, so I have no record of the dance. If you have a video, can you get in touch? If you dance, you can imagine how much it would be appreciated. Pat

  11. We read Keith's autobiography "Life" while onboard. A wonderful memoir. Somehow he remembers almost everything.
  12. It was all I could do not to yell "Who cares?" when he schooled us about how to properly pronounce the first syllable of his name. The pianist Kim Purling seems a little too happy with himself too. Personal peeve: Audience prompting. "Wasn't that great?" "Did you enjoy that?" "Are you having a good time?" (usually repeated to get more enthusiastic response.) Latin dance team tonight, consistently the best entertainment pound for pound on the ship...
  13. Keith, is your large typeface a default setting? Do you know it is so large in the CC format? Vox Fortura is super, we agree.
