For anyone traveling to Grand Cayman in the future all bars on the ship except for the pool bar are closed when the ship is tendered. I’ll be in line early for my mudslide.

You are correct on the booking verbiage. Still working on my first cup of coffee. The Sky Lounge was always the place my wife and I could go to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. Over the years it has decreased in size for suites but we still enjoy going. We have seen the venue close on occasion over the years but never this much on an ongoing basis. Went up to have my coffee there yesterday at 8:00 and couldn’t get in.

Found out from the crew that Celebrity has booked some large groups on this ship, one in excess of 800 people. This is causing some real headaches for other passengers as venues like the Sky Lounge are closed for special events every day causing crowding in other public spaces. These same groups come in mass to the casino and the bars and are making it difficult if not impossible for all passengers to enjoy the whole ship. I feel bad for many of the crew also when hundreds show up to a bar at the same time. They just can’t get caught up. If we had known we certainly would have looked at other options. Anyone else run into this?

Stay tuned. I’ll see what I can get later today.

What a difference a day makes. On the second leg of our B2B Celebrity has booked some huge groups on board and venues such as the Sky lounge were closed for several hours yesterday. The Martini bar became completely overrun and you couldn’t get anywhere near it for a cocktail before dinner. Very chaotic and loud all over the ship. Hoping for a calmer environment today.

Based on our current B2B after 1:00 in the afternoon to dinner.
-
On a current B2B and turnaround day was fairly quick. We had to be in Tuscan at 9:45 and were off to clear customs and back on by 10:30.
-
On a current B2B and it has been crowded during the late afternoon and inclement weather. Up until about 1 in the afternoon and on port days it has been fairly empty.

We only cruise once a year and seeing the Sheriff’s boat come down the canal at a high rate of speed with lights flashing and stop the other craft was a first for me. -

On our way with an assist from local law enforcement. Guessing someone got to close to us as we were leaving Ft. Lauderdale. -

If you pick up your luggage from the port area you can ask guest relations to give you a high luggage tag number. On the cruise that just ended they had numbers as high as 40. That would delay your departure as long as possible from the ship. -

It may make sense for you to try the unassisted departure where you carry off your own luggage. They are the first group to disembark after the ship arrives so timing the departure may be a little easier. -

Great postings by What A Market. I was on that cruise and had fun following along on his thread. My wife and I are staying on for the next 6 days so if any one has questions on the Reflection or this specific sailing I will try and get the answers for you. -

We did receive a tote in our Aqua. class room at the beginning of this cruise. -
Sorry about the delay. The activities manager on board is named Bennie.
