  1. Have not been on a e-class ship but on the s-class there was typically an early morning general knowledge trivia and a afternoon general knowledge along with a music trivia. At night the also had a trivia that varied from day to day.
  2. Thanks. I thought I couldn’t be the first to see this but couldn’t locate the thread you found.
  3. A quick paint job and you have Edge of the Seas Reflection of the Seas Constellation of the Seas
  4. Has anyone else been sent a notification that taxes for 2024 cruises with Bahamian stops will increase after 1/1/2024. According to news articles on the internet costs will go up $5.00 but Celebrity has increased my bill by over $17.00. I could be missing something but am concerned Celebrity is just using this as an excuse to grab some additional revenue.
  5. With some of there last minute changes and cutbacks you may get less than you pay for.
  6. The food on our last 2 cruises (post pandemic) was reasonably good in Blu. The overall service around the ship, especially in places like the restaurant, bars, OV, and Cafe Al Bacio had slipped year over year. Don’t know if it was a lack of staff but many of the workers seemed stressed and harried. The Maitre ‘d’ in Blu spent every evening bussing tables. We have a reservation in February of next year but haven’t decided based on our last two trips if we will go yet.
  7. Blu doesn’t have capacity to serve all Aqua class guests all at the same time and giving certain Aqua class guests priority on reserving seats would only go to alienate other Aqua class passengers who have paid a premium to stay in that class but chose to stay in a room that Celebrity has not deemed a “prime” location. If there is a wait they give you a pager. I have waited up to 20-25 minutes but that was when my wife and I wanted a specific waiter or seating location during the busy dinner hours.
  8. Wow. I stand corrected. Thanks for letting all of us know.
  9. If you are talking about pre-booking excursions and dinner reservations for Summer 2024 I doubt things will be available for booking yet. You should be able to check your reservation and see when the earliest date may be. I would agree that you should book as soon as possible to ensure you get what you want.
  10. I have not at this point but I think It is a good idea. I actually want to visit future cruise vacations on the ship and gather some additional information on the price increases first. I have emailed her in the past but only received a phone call from one of the executive team members.
  11. Thank you for all your suggestions. All of our cruises the past 10-15 years have been based on leaving during the peak of our winter here in Michigan to escape the worst of our winter weather which is typically January and February. The all included Aqua rooms used to be a better deal when you factored in drink packages, gratuities and internet. We could certainly downgrade to save money which may be our only option to continue with Celebrity if their prices don’t drop but a vacation should not be the time to worry about whether or not you can have that extra margarita at the pool. Keeping my fingers crossed that some level of sanity returns to the travel industry and life in general soon. Travel safe everyone.
  12. For the first time in years My wife and I won’t be booking a future cruise while on the ship. We have a B2B for a total of 14 days in Aqua class later this month that cost a total of $6710. Last year when I was onboard I booked a 14 day B2B in Aqua for 2024. The price had increased to $8138. A comparable 2025 cruise comes in at $10991 for 14 days. I understand the cruise industry has had its share of issues due to the pandemic but at these prices and needing to add airfare and trip insurance this is no longer an affordable vacation compared to other options. Raising prices 63 percent over a 2 year period is going to drive customers to an alternate vacation option. I’m pretty sure there must be others with sticker shock also. Looks like a trip to sunny Florida will be in our future in 2025. Happy cruising to those with bigger wallets.
  13. In past cruises it always has been but the way Celebrity has documented their drink packages has made it unclear.
  14. This just happened to me. I checked in with my old passport and then updated it later when my new passport arrived.
  15. I believe the Sapphire tier is given due to the amount you gamble. If it is already there it will show on your express pass with a “CALL” designation. If you have printed your express pass check there. I don’t believe your cabin mate needs to purchase a package for you to get your benefits. Since this was for gambling I might start with the casino host or guest services.
  16. If I pick another ship with an earlier cruise date I can see other info. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
  17. When I do that it only brings up the cruises I have bookings for. Am I missing something obvious.
  18. Not sure how to look at a current cruise on the app. I thought you could only look at cruises that you are sailing on.
  19. Can you tell where you found the menu for Blu. In the Celebrity app no dinners are listed for either our 2/23 or 2/27 cruises. Maybe we are only getting served breakfast……..
  20. You won’t find this on the evening news. However, based on many items on this board the feedback is helping people decide whether to move their business to another line, continue with Celebrity, or maybe opt for a different vacation all together. If Celebrity doesn’t take cruisers concerns seriously they may lose them. It’s a lot tougher to win a customer back then keep them in the fold.
  21. I would book as soon as possible. Depending on the time of year, destination and popularity the excursion you want may fill up. Also, Celebrity may give discounts for bookings prior to departure.
  22. Interesting idea but in the end no matter how they receive feed back would they consider listening and taking action. The business is theirs to run and they have a board and stockholders to answer to. If people stop cruising due to cutbacks and high prices that will be the ultimate feedback.
  23. At least there are bathrooms close by, just in case…
  24. Thanks for the information. Looking forward to finding some new favorites.
