  1. I think around 30 days prior to departure.
  2. Not that I have seen at least up to about1:00. By then too hot for me in the sun.
  3. Dave Clark (England) is the cruise director. Don’t know off hand about the activities director but I’ll try and find out for you later today.
  4. No pre-booking is required in the theater. For the more popular shows I would suggest showing up a bit early as they can get quite crowded. We do not typically go to the Celebrity singer and dancer shows but have seen an Illusionist and Comedian on this cruise so far which were very good.
  5. The only thing we received from your list was a tote bag. Being in Aqua class we were offered via email a yoga mat, stretch bands, exercise balls but that was all on loan, not to keep.
  6. Ship has not gone through a refurbishment but the rooms are nice. Unfortunately no footstools. Funny what you miss. I asked several people and no one has them that I have found.
  7. Just happened to catch your posts. My wife and I are on board also and will continue on Sunday for the upcoming 6 day. Happy cruising.
  8. Currently on board the Reflection in the Caribbean. Staying in Aqua class so if anyone has any questions I’ll do my best to find the answer.
  9. I am looking at post-pandemic Celebrity to cruising Celebrity today. So many issues that were self inflicted making the overall experience much less desirable. No class of room has been spared.
  10. Based on all the missteps Celebrity has made recently, I wonder what their definition of “positive” is.
  11. Sorry if this is a bit off topic. Does anyone know if the wines listed in the Retreat Lounge are available in other venues or are they only for suite customers. We are sailing in Aqua class and just wondering if they would be available in Blu.
  12. They could at a minimum reset to where they were a few months ago. How about considering: Return of Butler in Suites Drink prices reverted to before latest hike Drink menus reverted to before last change All included pricing that is really all included ”Some changes” to me means Celebrity will make one or two insignificant modifications and act like they are listening. A major reversal would take bookings to drop significantly, especially in the higher priced rooms.
  13. Did you factor in the cost of your drink package before the upcharge?
  14. They seem to be willing to tick off their customers for a revenue grab. If 2000 people on the ship get one drink a day at a $2.40 up charge that is $4,800 extra every day in their coffers. Ships sail year round so for a year that is $1,752,000 per ship. Multiply that by the 17 ships in their fleet and you are close to $30 million annually. Probably just enough for LHB’s bonus.
  15. I did the same. Seems like they are betting people love the overall Retreat/ Suite product enough that the will keep coming back even with these ridiculous upcharges. Unfortunately I paid in full before the latest debacle or I would have moved on already. Too many options that are a step above now.
  16. I guess the only way Celebrity management will understand is if people stop paying for their suites and go elsewhere. I am guessing they have had a ton of feedback on this yet they have chosen to make no corrections. Less services in the rooms, less alcohol in the lounge etc. The benefits are disappearing rapidly.
  17. If you look at the current Ascent sailing the app shows 4 of the 10 cocktails served at the World class bar as an upcharge over the PDP.
  18. Drinking cheap wine and eating lays potato chips sounds like what I do on my deck in the summer, not in an expensive suite.
  19. Then why put the prices on the menu? She also said in your post that you could get other wines on request at an additional cost. Maybe what is documented as upcharges are those wines. Clear as mud.
  20. With all the missteps Celebrity has made recently this one seems to be the worst, so far. Thanks for dropping big bucks to stay in a suite but we still want more. That will be $2.40 please. Cha Ching.
  21. So much for coverage with the premium drink package.
