Would be great if US leaves all future Canadian Alaskan cruises ports out from now on but this bill as written expires late Feb 2022.  I would say YES, NCL is a go for second half 2021 Alaskan Cruises. 

Just booked the first Bliss Alaskan sailing for 2021 on August 7. 

We hope to be actually sailing, but for now, "No Risk it, No Bisket".

I  think this bill allows cruises to skip Canada while the emergency order is in place. Currently, Canada has banned cruise ships until February 28, 2022.

So the proposed bill will not allow Alaska sailing if Canada bans cruises after Feb 28, 2022?

Reading as legislation must be completed prior to Feb 2022.  

This is great great news for the State of Alaska cruise industry.  Never have like the 6hr Victoria port stop anyway! Hope this bill passes cause the way Canada rolls, without this bill I seriously doubt there would be a 2022 Alaskan season.   

Like this news so much I'm booking a 2022 NCL Alaskan cruise tomorrow.

My belief in the Ensemble lounge is that it is designed as the late night chill out spot and for those awaiting their booking for a specialty restaurant. The entertainment there is generally the Jazz band or the classical musicians or even the solo guitarist and that generally is later in the evening after dinner. It has a similar embiance of al bacio.

Ensemble lounge should be dark always,,,,i.e. Jazz, Frank S, .and Great Mood Cocktails.

Couldn't get into the NCL system, "Fast Enough", to cut my Bid in Half and let it ride for next Saturdays TA !!

I’m onboard Equinox now and just booked another cruise for three. Specifically asked and they said they have removed any perks for third / fourth person,

I'm trying to plan our honeymoon in Alaska and I'm seeing prices of around 14k for the Haven. We have the money for this but should we wait to see if prices come down? Would a mini suite or balcony be a smarter move for half the price? I'm just trying to justify the cost. Thanks

Most likely, with a sold out cruise, there is no rooms left to be upgraded too. LOL

 

If we do get upgraded, worse thing is I need to re-print our luggage tags.

Don't listen to the grouches. One thing people need to realize wether they like it or not, is the rooms are handicap "accessible" not handicap exclusive. Once the rooms are in open inventory they can be booked by anyone. No bad karma involved.

Having said that, there is the very rare case that if someone booked in the same class of rooms needs a handicap room they may move you or ask you to move. They can move you up a category but are not supposed to move you down.

I have been in a handicap room booked once the room was released into general inventory. No guilt involved.

Not sure your No Guilt logic adds up.
