  1. I always used the train/bus connection to get to FLL and back from my area. Silver Star is the one that works for me in NC Fla, unless I want to drive back and forth from JAX.
  2. Thank you. They have been delaying the restart for several months. Maybe they were waiting for snowbird season to restart the Silver Meteor.
  3. Is #98 running in October? It has been suspended since April or May. Otherwise, it will be the Silver Star #92 - due in FLL at 12:18 pm and your connection in Savannah to the Palmetto #90 will be in the middle of the night for #92 [01:30] to #90 at 07:45 am to Charleston. This is just a warning. Only #91 [So] and 92 [No] have been running for the last few months - and they go the inland route to Columbia SC. I would recheck with Amtrak to see if Silver Meteor #98 [your early morning departure 08:50-ish] is confirmed as restarting operations yet. This is just a heads-up.
  4. Zuidy is just north of Tracy Arm - it should be another good hour - maybe even an hour-and-a-half to a sighting in Juneau. Quantum otS is also a view-blocker - sitting at the AS dock.
  5. And NA is done - or at least hidden. Tomorrow is Zuidy - back at afternoon arrival time. [Same as PEV/FLL sailaway time. 😄 Thanks Kathi, for the thread.
  6. I wonder if the tendering ships have restricted the other ships from swinging around closer to the camera? This week with no ships tendering, we have gotten closer views on the ships in the basin coming into the docks.
  7. I forgot my doctor's appt could interfere with my watching - but I still got home in time. The BHBs are taking pity on me - this week. 🙂
  8. I expect she'll be early as usual - 6-7 am AST is normal sighting time. Thanks, Kathi, for the reminder and the thread.
  9. Nieuw Amsterdam due at 8 am AST - but she usually shows up between 6-7 am AST See you then.
  10. She snuck in a little early. and I have trouble with Wednesday - It's my lunch time. 😄
  11. Noordam is running quite early. She's usually in the channel at this time. Maybe the good weather helped.
  12. Well, Westy is hidden. Noordam tomorrow - 10 am AST
  13. She'll soon be hidden. Nice of the rain to arrive with Westy - not.
  14. Maybe the weather will actually turn out that way. Thaks, Kathi, for the reminder.
  15. Westy about 10 minutes from viewing. She has blocker at AS dock and one at AJ dock [entering the harbor]. Camera is panning but it is clear. Will be a short-viewing sail-in.
  16. I guess we are done. Thanks for the company, leerathje. Tomorrow is Westy - same timeframe. Kathi, thanks for the thread.
  17. Kdam is making good time. Shouldn't take her long at all to dock and tie-up.
